Hi I live in california, and i know that it is illegal to get a engine that is older than my car to swap. i'm looking to swap b16 into 93 hatch.

my question is what are the exact years that i can do, for instance if i do a 93 will that work, or do i have to go one year newer 94? and also can i specify to the vendor (will be online most likely) that i need a specific year, or can a 92-95 b16a2 work the same regardless of year.

and does anybody know any good shops to get engines in so cal, or online.
