Ok i bought the exedy stage 1 kit and just broke it in. It was adjusted an all but, when i press it in all they way, about when it is almost in it makes a tiny squeak like and ou can feel it in the pedal.... Now i thought maybe it was the clutch cylinder or maybe throw out bearing...but my mechanic said its because the pressure plate is new... Is this true?
Also where most of you have the engagement point...? Up top or mid way?

that's normal my clutch makes a small sound like that from the pedal too. You can use some grease to grease that area that is making that sound if it bothers you enough. If the clutch engages and disengages properly, you shouldn't worry.

 

"squeek squeek" goes my clutch.
