Clutch Problems
My clutch used to be stiff but since yesterday I have noticed that it has gotten really soft. Also it seems like my friction point is alot lower. What do you guys think it is? I was thinking maybe my clutch master cylinder has a leak in it, I am gonna inspect the fluid level and look for leaks later on today.
Your pressure plate could be weakening.. and you'll need a whole new kit.
But I'm a cable tranny guy - so i don't know if the same theory holds true with your hydro.

whole new clutch kit?

IF it was the pressure plate that is at fault, you do not need a whole new kit. You can replace your pressure plate only. Depending on how many miles are on that clutch, it might be a better idea to do the whole thing.
Why don't ya give us a little more info on it. Like the amount of miles on it ?
And check the fluid level, and the slave cylinder. Look for leaks anywhere.

Its the stock clutch and it has about 117k miles on it, I am gonna check the fluid level and the slave cylinder for leaks after I get out of school today

Good deal. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that with that kind of mileage on the stock clutch, it probably needs replaced now. That's awesome that you got that far on the stock disc though!
I just checked the clutch cylinder and it has no fluid in it , and there was no leak around it to. So i started to further inspect and saw some leaks around the firewall. I am thinking that i just have to replace a hose, how much would a shop charge me to do that?

well if there is no fluid in the clutch master cylinder then that is a problem right there!
The only flexible line that would need replaced would be just past the slave cylinder on the top front of the transmission. It's only about 7 inches long or so. I replaced mine with a stainless steel line. So far, I haven't driven it in a long enough period of time to see if that has stopped clutch fatigue. But it couldn't hurt.
anywho, if you've got no fluid in the CMC, then i'd say you're gonna have to fill that up and bleed the system until it's back to par!

Actually I dont need a clutch , I just gotta replace a line that linked with the CMC

If it was as easy as ScreaminTeg says i would charge you any where from 1.0 hrs to 2.0. However you have to find out what a shops hourly rate is usally from 70-85 bucks a hour around here. Also on that part it is probebly what the tech thinks he should be payed cause the chiltons labor guide doesn't get that spacific.
I just got my car back from the shop yesterday. They had to replace the CMC , it cost me $150.15 for parts and labor but when I was driving the car home the friction point felt much higher. I am thinking its the early stages of a gone clutch
