Default Oil feed source????

I know the most common source for the oil feed line is from the back of the block, but I've heard from a few people that it's also possible to tap it from the front of the block by the cam seal near the VTEC solonoid? (Only on a B-series motor) Is this a reliable source for the feed? Is there enough pressure to push the oil through? Is it too much pressure?

Thanks in advance.

IMO Either use a GE/greddy plate or t-off the oil pressure sending unit.
