yeah basically i wanna get this for my boosted hatch...and was wundering if it hold up...or any pros and cons you guys my know about...thanx

 

i know a guy on HMT that's had one in his civic for a while.. go there and pm **** or post a message in Engine tech.

 

this question has been argued to death with no answer. You take a gamble with the obx, so if you value your transmission get a quaiffe.

i have heard nothing but good **** bout them...ive seen cars making over 400whp w/ a obx lsd on 24inch slicks w/ no problems

 

My friend has this on his boosted d-series..when he first went to install it the axle got bind like you hear people talking about. He took it to a machine shop and got it torched out, and it when in fine the next time. The diff held up stronger then stock axles..because he has already broken one. He is probably pushing 250hp now, and will be pushing 300+
