Default Gears Grinding

I have been noticing some unusualy grinding in my b16 lately. Second gear grinds if I take first to redline and then slam it, Only sometimes when i down shift, and sometimes while driving regular. Reverse grinds no matter what unless i shift into first and then go to reverse. I can't just start the car and put it in reverse or else it will grind. I replaced my tranny oil with some synchromesh today and it hasn't really made any difference.

be sure your clutch cable is adjusted properly.

reverse does not have a synchro on cable b series transmissions. The grinding is normal for reverse.

if your clutch cable is adjusted and you have synchromesh in there, then you're just in need of synchros. Don't slam it into gear or you will destroy the gears as well.

syncro mesh takes some time to start working. i got the non friction modified stuff and after around 500+ miles it took away all grinds. reverse will grind unless you go to first
