If you look at the back of the cluster, all the way on the left. I pulled the yellow wiring harness out. As far as I can tell, that did the trick. I tried pulling the bulb behind the SRS light, but that didn't do it. Was this the right one? Thanks!

Thanks guys

Helms wasn't too much help this time, since it only had vague diagrams of locations and detailed diagrams if harnesses that didn't apply. Since the yellow harness had 4 wires, I just wanted to make sure I didn't unplug too much by doing the whole damn plug. Oh well, SRS light is off, and that's what counts.

crack rock rocks!

Why was your SRS light on in the first place?

Ah, ok that works. Is this strictly a track car? You have a roll cage and 5 points? I hope so because if not that’s about the stupidest thing you could do to a daily driver. I investigate accidents for a living, once you see hair and skin embedded in a windshield a couple times, or teeth marks on the steering wheel rim, or scalp fragments in the headliner next to the A pillar you really become aware how important those airbags are. If you have all the necessary safety stuff, disregard my rant. Just don’t like seeing people take chances when they don’t have to.

Not a personal attack, just an observation.

BTW the 3 point factory seatbelt won't do squat for you exept keep you in the car... if your lucky. I saw the pics of the bar and belts on your web site. You bolt yourself in everytime you drive that thing? If not your playing roulette, I'd post a pic but it may be a bit graphic for some viewers. Just a thought.

Yes there's a bar in my car, and yes I have 6pt harnesses, along with a race bucket you may not be able to see since it's pretty new. Most sanctioning racing bodies won't even allow you to keep airbags in the car, hence the change. I take my chances driving on the street.

Heh, I went to medical school at a level I trauma center after working on a paramedic ambulance for a few years. If it kills you in a car, I've seen it. I study accidents, so I'm always up for pics

****. I'd rather drive without airbags. Hate those fuggen things. I've been in plenty of accidents in cars with and without airbags and for some strange reason I always get more injuring in the cars with the airbags.

**** AIRBAGS!

Isn't it also the ABS? They look to be on the came circuit in the dash? From the manual, it looks to me like you will loose both the SRS and ABS lights by pulling the whole harness.

I will cross that bridge soon. SRS, AC, and Cruise will be comming out of my car soon.

If I remember correctly, the ABS light came on when I started the car. I'll check to make sure. I have never actually seen the ABS light come on any other time.
