Default just got my Rex

sup fellas i was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for first couple of mods? all i got is 300 dollars and i dont know what to get.

what are you looking for now more power better handling more sound looks etc?

im lookin to get more performance cuz car already has coil overs and springs. so im tryin toget more power. any ideas on what i should get

haha...well i'm just like you...i just got a crx...but if you're smart...i would save that money and get a swap...i'm not hating on the single cams but you'll be able to get more power out of a dohc for less money...i'm getting an ITR...but you may not be that serious...get a B16 atleast...or even an LS...you should be kool with that...i don't recommend you waste money on making your single cam faster if you plan to swap it...if you're not looking that far ahead...get an AEM intake...

thanks man but im not plannin to swap it n e time soon. AEM intake is what i was thinkin. any other suggestions guys?

Save up for a while. Get to know the car.
AEM is overrated. So are most of the other big name brands. Any cheapo intake with a good filter stuck on it will do the job.
A good header, and a proper tune up should be next on your list. You'd be surprised how much a good valve job can do for you.

just get any intake tube and put a k&n filter on it. shouldn't cost more than 50.

Just do that, and don't do anythign else.
Save up and buy a motor. You'll be happier (way happier) in the end.
