The other day i was driving and i was doin 40 in 5th and droped it down into 2nd gear and it bogged real bad and i pulled it out and put it back in and it took off. then later on that day i took off in 1st and hit 6 grand put it into second and slammed the gas down and the car stalls!!! WTF can ya guys give me a clue of whats goin on and btw the motor i have is a jdm d15b. and i got another question when i got my jdm d15b motor i didnt have another tranny so i pulled my dx tranny off and put it on the motor before i threw it in my car. how much faster would it be if i put and si tranny from a d16z6 or y8? and last one. the car idles like little above 500 rpms and it has a little pause to it when i hit the gas it should be like verrom instead its like puff verrom my guess is a really minor vaccum leak but i cant seem to find it or hear it can anyone give me sum help on finding vaccum leaks? thanks!
