i tryed recharging my AC today and it blew cold air when i put refrigerate in it. i heard a leak the whole time and i trace the sound to where the high side coming out the firewall and routing almost underneath the battery what is that little thing it is leaking the refrigerate out the system??

 

u can get a "ac leakfinder" kit at autozone. it puts fluorescent die into the lines, then u shine a uv light around the linds till u find the leak

 

i found it its near the front of the car in the hi line theres a valve thats leaking

 

braze the leak shut....or cut the pipe and use a coupling and fix it...theres nothing else u can do!

You could try soldering....but unless you know someone who does HVAC then you prolly dont have the right ****... Theres really only one type you should use thats really strong enough to hold it...bearing silver, you might be able to get a small tiny roll of it but a whole roll is like 35 beans
