Default Tachometer Question

I just got my new Tachometer in the mail the other day and my friend and i were trying to install it and we got everything working except for the nedel. neither of us knows where the tachometer terminal is and i would be very happy if someone could tell me where it is so i can fully install my tach. i drive a 1996 civic dx

You can just tap off of the coil negitive wire for the rpm signal, that is the heavy blue wire that is coming out of the distributor.

Easiest way is to go under the hood of the car, look for a dead end single wire (blue) harness with a grey cap right by the driver side shock tower and clutch reservoir, tap there, it shouldn't be hard to find

Remove your gauge cluster. There's an all blue wire running from one of the plugs. Tap off that wire for your RPM signal.

... easiest way and looks alot cleaner... you wont have an ugly wire running across the engine bay to the dizzy
