Default sqeeking problem?

I have a 2002 honda accord special edition and on the front right side of the vehicle there is a horrible squeeking noise. it happens when iam driving no matter what speed iam driving at and when i go in reverse, and when iam coming to a stop. is this the brakes rubbing on somting or the rotor rubbing on somting or lack of lubrication.

check the shimms, i think thats what they are called. Sometimes they tend to get loose and can rub up against the rotor and create a squeeking. This has happened to me in another car of mine that wasnt a Honda, but its worth a look.

There are several sourses for suspension noises in Honda's
1) Dry / Worn Bushings
2) Dry / Word Ball Joint (s)
3) Bent / Misaligned Disc Rotor Shield
4) Glazed Brake Pads.
5) Worn Brake Pads, wear sensors rubbing rotor

1 & 2 Happen only when the susspension moves. You can make the noise by bouncing the car down/up.
3, 4 & 5 Happen only when the vehicle moves.

You're going to have to determine which.

I have a similar sounding problem on the same wheel. The caliper spring is rubbing on the leading edge of the rotor. If you take off the wheel the rotor should be shiny where its rubbing. Nothing ever touches that part so it should not be shiny.

remove the inner brake pads and chk the wear bar ..at times pads wear uneven you can look at the outside pads and looks ok but the inner pads could worn,,
