Swap into 99 EK
I have 99Ek, and have 97 B19C5 (US Type-R), I have done all the wiring for the engine, but I noticed that 99Eks have different wiring loom, something with 0bd2b instead of Obd2a, can some one assist me with what I am doing wrong, I can turn the car and it will start for like 3 sec. and dies out.
Had the engine on 96 Ek, and I took the engine out to replace with 99ek body because the frame on the 96 ek was bad. So I had the engine running before hand, please help me with any ideas, thank you.

On your first set up your OBD's matched, no sweat. Now you are going B to A. The easy way out is a 99 si harness with a adapter harness to your ECU of choice. I would recommend OBD1 P28 and an engine management program. Mild tuning on that engine will get you alot for a couple hundred bucks. Hondata S100 and a few shitty very used boltons netted 183 WHP on a recent Type-r swap. Best HP vs dollar you can do.
