Engine shuts off, V-AFC shuts off, and oil light comes on
My friend was driving in his 90 CRX and it just suddenly shut off. Oil light comes on but the v-afc is off. Everything else works (music, lights, etc)
He took out the key the oil light goes off and it cranks but doesn't want to start.
What could be the problem?

Ok, this morning he turned the key but the V-AFC doesn't work. Everything else works.
Checked all fuses and everything is good. Checked all of the wiring of the V-AFC to the ECU and they are all fine. Does the V-AFC have some sort of fuse inside?
Check Engine light, oil light, seat belt light, and all of the other lights are on

Still sounds like ECU fuse to me unless you're saying the car started this morning.
Check your wiring to that VAFC... Check continuity, voltage etc... Read up on how to troubleshoot electrical if you don't know how. http://www.the12volt.com

I was browsing around on another forum and another person had a similar problem because of a bad main fuel relay.
if the AC is not turning on then the car wont star. since it is bypassing some sensors. The afc could be fried. i would unhook it and try running the car without it.
