hey whats going on my name is tekk ive been trying to find new forums to get into...well anyways iam tryign to sup up my car any who ..right now i have an 1992 honda accord 2dr ...ive reclenty purchased a new exhaust sys for it and an cold air intake ..well besides that i didnt think that was enough power so just last week i went and purchased a jdm h22 enigne that has an lsd tranny on it iam not too sur of its cond tell it gets to me... well ive been making plans to turbo chrge it ...but i need some advice ..i wanted to turbo charge it and maybe put some nos in it ...what all is involved as far as turbo charging this baby ...i thought all you had to do is buy a kit have it but on and your good to go but ive been reading a litte on it and that doesnt seem to be all . should i get skunk 2 cams shaft and gears or do i need turbo camshfts ....plz help

 

ohhh man...well do you plan on doing all of the installing yourself? or do you plan on letting a shop install all of your stuff?
seriously, it sounds as if you need to do alot more research and learning before you start buying stuff...my advice would be to either swap the h22 in yourself if you feel you can or pay someone to do it and just take if slow, start off with an intake, a nice header and keep researching about cars...
as far as turbocharging your h22 and putting some "nos in it"-sounds like a recipe for a blown motor...learn more and you will see that you will need strengthened internals for that kind of setup which would entail a motor rebuild which is alot of $$. search around on some of the other forums such as

momstaxi knows what he's talking about, if I were you I'd see how much of an improvement you see after swapping the h22 in your car first. There's about a 50hp difference between your stock engine and h22. Quoted by momstaxi, do some bolt-on mods to the h22 first and then work from there. You might be satisfied with that, however things that would quicken the h22 other than I/H/E would be a stage 1 clutch, lightened flywheel, new cams, some decent tires. A decent suspension set-up would also improve the overall performance of the car, in terms of handling and putting more power to the wheels without suspension flex . Work on the fundementals first, then put some thought into turboing after this. good luck

There is more. He has a 1992 Accord.

Swap it first then worry about NOS or FI

 

That's pretty much irrelevant at this time, it's around 50-65hp difference, the thing is there's a huge difference either way and he may not want much more after all this.

 

alright well right now i got someone who has a pair of new skunk stage2 camshafts and skunk 2 cam gear for like 670 should i jump on this but see the thing is i want to get the enige done allright while its not in the bay yet so it can be alot easier so thats why iam asking if i should start buy getting bigger rods and pistons and what else should i do as far as reinforiicng the enige cuz i want to make this baby a monster from hell

...ight man i got a question for ya, i have a 1996 accord ex coupe the one with a f22b1 engine so 145 hp. well like i am in the process of purchasing an h22a for it but im lost as to what i am gonna do, like i wanna add a apexi vtec controller and i have a bro of mine wit a shop to do this in for free-sweet deal, but i wanna kno all i can bout this swap so if u can help me bro id really appreciate it. i tried sites an stuff but time is cutting short, so if u could talk to me bout how to go bout doin this id b happy to repay the favor.-i fig. ud b a good start cuz readin ur posts i think u kno ur stuff. an well id like ta talk bout it with ya if ya got ne time on ur hands thanx bro take it easy.
