my friend has a 90 teg with what i believe is a b16 swap with a xsi tranny. anyways he broke the inner boot last night just baggin up to pull out of a parking lot and its a brand new axle . everwhere i look its tellin me to use the ls axles that came with that year but when we went to get another axle they where reall short just like the one that broke on the drivers side . anybody have a guess why its too short

his car setup
90 integra
s1 tranny (im guessin xsi)
auto to manual swap(using stock maual tranny mount sits up a lil on tranny side)
everything else is stock except its lowered 2 inches

 

get some hybrid axles

 

well is there an altarnative instead of buying hybrid axles becuase he just broke the bank when he did the swap and they just had a kid . im just trying to help him out

when i had my DA with a b16 i just used the stock LS axles. and whenever i broke them i just ordered axles for my year car, a 1991 LS, and they fit every time.

 

thanks for the response..i looked at his car last night and its sitting up on the tranny mount side so that must be why there pooping so easly but we dont know anybody that sales auto manual tranny mounts or is there a way to fix that?
