Unable to set timing on Jdm b18?
Hey guys I have been working on my car for the past 3 weeks trying to solve my bogging/stalling problem.
My question is that I had the timing light on the car and i cant seem to get the timing right no matter how far i turn the dizzy it wont come in to where its supposed to be.
Could a faulty Dizzy cause this type of problem?

Btw the car is running on a obd1 conversion with a chipped p28 ecu
If I have to replace the dizzy is this the right one?

Warm up car properly to operating temperature.
Then make sure you are "jumping" the service connector that is located on the passenger side fender well and turn off all accessories devices in the car.

Thats the thing to even keep the car on you have to pump the gas to hold the idle so it wont stall out
everything else is off
To set the timing the service light connector has to hooked?
this is the one you use to see what codes you have correct?

Service connector is the one you retrieve eror codes from. It does not have to be hooked but it does have to be "jumped". Just use both ends of a paper clip and insert into the connector to jump.
