well my mom just bought a 1990 crx hf with a d15b7 and mpfi... about 3000 rpms it misses bad. we've replaced the dizzy and the plugs and its still missing. any info or help will be greatly appreciated..

Welcome to the HF club.......Check all the ignition parts. that's all i can think of.

 

what ecu is it running? The d15b7 is an OBD-1 DX engine.

 

maybe its not the b7 i dono its a 90 hf like i said its my moms so i don't know a whole lot about it its a mpfi engine 1.5 liter and it has the si harness

 

It should be a B8. Should be an 8v motor. With a fat egr on top on the left of the motor. What makes you think it's an SI harness?

 

the B8 i know is from a 92-95 CX

 

it would be a D15B2 that is what came in the usdm hf and dx 89-91 check your injectors. also check the timming cam/crank and ign! try turning the dissy all the way to one side and rev it, if it dose miss try to turn it the other way. but if it takes care of the problem then you will know witch way to go on the cam

 

i know its an si harness because the driver side firewall plug has 8 wires instead of 12 and its not a b2 its MPFI...it might be a d15b6
