Default A/F meter reading changes if I turn on the headlights

AUTOMETER A/F ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!

It doesnt matter if I pic the signal right next to the o2 sensor or the ECU.

It doesnt matter if I take ground and power from the battery or not

It reads just fine until you turn on the lights.... then, the reading goes down 4 leds

from the last green to the first one (WOT or not, doesnt matter, the whole range changes)

Any ideas?????????????

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Im not trying to tune with it. It just to let me know that Im not running lean while racing.

Anyways, its not the meter itself, because I tried it on other cars and works flawlessly

Exactly - your other grounds on the chassis are sounding a little suspect.

You could be running at a 13:1 AFR and the autometer shows you as rich. You can think that's the safest thing in the world, but it really isn't.
