ATS with turbo?
ok so here in the next couple of months I'll be installing a GReddy turbo kit along with CM stage 2 or 3<ot sure which yet
> with flywheel and lower comp. pistons. Now my question is how will the ATS FD work with this set up? should i stick with my 5th or use the GS-R 5th? would this be a practical set-up or would it beat me to death? maybe the FD combined with the flywheel woul help reduce turbo lag? anyone else with turbo+FD on thier R as well?
thanx guys

It depends on how much you want to shift and how fast you intend on shifting - the answer to your question is "of course you can do it" - but I would be more concerned with traction if you did that mod. I say leave the tranny stock until you've determined you need higher gear ratios.
Yea, Mike M. is considering doing the Vortech charger, and if he does I think he will have to sell his c5/ATS trans and pick up a GSR or stock R trans instead..
I think the ATS would be waaay too short for a boosting car.
