flywheels?

Default flywheels?

all right its time for my to change out my stcok clutch on my d16y8 turbo. i am wondering if i should by a lighter flywheel or stay with the stock one? i hear ups and i hear downs of a lighter flywheel for a turbo? should i or not

for sure go lighter. question is how light.

if you drive it daily i would not go under 12 lbs.

i run a 8.5 lb and i really dont have any issues, but the rpms do drop when i pust the clutch in..

if you can shift fast then you have nothing to worry about. and as for daily driveing, i would say it doesnt really matter how fast your rpms drop, it doesnt take but a few seconds to go gear to gear. i have a 6.5 lb flywheel from clutchmasters and i love it. but you have to be a fast shifter or you will loose to much boost if boosting.
