GREDDY BOOST GAUGE OWNERS - Quick/Stupid question

When you turn the ignition off where does the needle point too?? Mine goes to the center "0".

Jordan, if your needle is pointing at zero(as in perfectly horizontal) That means you are still getting power to that guage. And that is why your battery is draining. Anand had the same exact problem. On my greddy guages, once I turn off the car, all of them go vertical (even the boost gauge). I think your problem is that you have your Orange wire(ignition wire) connected to a constant source, when it shouldn't be.

Jordan, if your needle is pointing at zero(as in perfectly horizontal) That means you are still getting power to that guage. And that is why your battery is draining. Anand had the same exact problem. On my greddy guages, once I turn off the car, all of them go vertical (even the boost gauge). What I did with my gauges is I wired them to the fuse box by your right knee. You can use a test light and find out which one is on turn key and which is not. That is what I use for my Apexi gauges and it works perfect!

It depends on if this is a mechanical or an electrical gauge.
My mechanical goes to zero, while my friends electrical pegs to one side or the other, I cant remember which.

Thanks guys... and KHOI!!! its electrical and Rubin hooked them up in the wrong spot with my EGT also!!

ALL the mechanical Greddy boost gauges stick at 0 when sthu off. The only ones that set to the lowest point when shut off are the electronic ones.

Yeah..I would assume so, since the same problem happened with Anand, and Anand's were installed by rubin as well
