ok well i got a new problem, my battery seems to be draining like stupid, so i charged it and my alarm was stuck in valet mode so i couldn't even do anything with the alarm and i had no battery problems but i got it out of valet mode and now my battery is drained again, is this a common problem, i'll be replacing my battery today but just wondering if it's the battery or the alarm. also how do i adjust the sensitivity of my shock sensor.

It's not a common problem, unless the alarm is tripping a lot when its armed, in it's normally armed mode it draws very little power, [unless there is something wrong with it] I would check the wiring maybe, and if you have a multimeter or DVM you can check on how much draw there is on the batt when the alarm is armed. The impact sen. adjustment is right on the impact sen. itself, very small movement on the adjustment **** will make a big diff. in how sensitive it is. 94
