12v ignition problem
i was installing an aftermarket radio into my new 88 crx si and ran into a problem... i was testing all the power wires with a multimeter and noticed that i was getting a weird problem with the 12v ignition wire... when you turn the key to the fist "click" you get a good 12v, but when you turn the key one more click( when the fuel pump primes... etc) it drops down to about 4v... does anyone know what could cause this? my ground is good... my 12v constant is good, and when you go to that first click the radio will come on, but click one more and it goes back off... thanks

Ok, if that wire is dropping to 5V with a load on it, it must have a cut or something... trace it back and see what you can find.
