When i let off the gas on my 92 hatch it seems like theres a tapping noise or pinging noise udnerneath the car towards the front. Could it be the axles?? and will the problem be fixed if i take the wheels off should i try n tighten the 32mm nut or is it sumthin else.

 

mine also makes a clickin noise...although i know its the axles...the intermediate shaft i beleive...could be urs too...id make sure the nuts were tight but not too much and then check all the other things i.e. castle nuts being loose, suspension bolts being a lil loose etc

 

do u get a clicking when u turn? if so check your axle boots for tears
