get some of that stuff they put on the back of cabinets to prevent it from slaming hella hard, you can get it at home deopt, and put it on the bottom of it. Its like this tape looking stuff and its about 1/8 in thick foam pad with one sticky side.... or just take it out all together.

Crawl in your trunk. Look at the bottom of the deck - see the big holes? Shove socks in there, to push the plastic cover up.
Done Free Works great

i have the same problem but the rattling sounds like it is coming from my 60/40 split seat. haven't had the time to sit down and try and track the sound but that might be another place to look.

i had the same problem, and fixed it with a t shirt i had that came vaccuum wrapped into this little ball, i just wedged it between the glass and deck lid and it completely cured the rattle

you might also be able to use a racquetball or something similar that will stay in place

you should have asked this in the Audio Forums, you would have gotten a better answer

It needs to be enough to press the rear deck up and in several spots
