I am looking to get a turbo kit for my engine. But the thing is, is that there are so many out there I dont know what to get. haha But basically I want the best for my money. But im looking in the range of 4000 - 4500 installed. And here's my current engine settup incase thats going to be a big factor...

B18c1 engine swap
Tokyo 70 mm Intake pipe
Spoon Air Filter
Skunk2 stage 2 cams
DC Sports exahaust headers
NGK spark plug wires
NGK Iridium spark plugs

Anyways, I was looking at this kit http://www.edelbrock.com/autom....html So let me know if this is a good settup or no. I know that its not listed for a gsr but I know they have them. And if theres a better one for my money, let me know.

And btw, im looking to spend only 4000 - 4500 bucks period. I dont want to get a $4500 turbo and then need to buy this this and that to make it run properly.

there is really no kit on the market that is completly complete. every kit needs something. i suggest buying a kit like full race or peak boost then with the left over money get injectors and a good fuel management then get it installed and tuned, that should take care of the $4500 pretty quick

 

also inline pro makes a good kit.. Im pretty sur ehtey run about 3500 or so. Theyre a little more than dragkits or whatever but the dragkits arent as high of quality as the inline pro's are.
after the inline pro youll need to get hondata or neptune to tune it... Im suyre there aresome very nice shops around your area being that you are from Ca.

 

peakboost kits are 2650 shipped. i think thats your best bet, if i had to do it all over again i would have gotten that kit

 

yea, the peakboost is a good kit. add hondata nd you are set. also look into full-race

 

you should probably take out those cams...
but piece together a kit, and put IT IN YOUR SELF! its not that hard! and its your best bang for your buck as far as quality/$$$ it just cost your time.
fuel management is the biggest drawback for most of the kits.
also i cant say for sure since i dont own one but you should read into the peakboost kits if you decide to get one because i read somewhere that a few people were having problems with the chargepipes for gsrs.

 

when you say charge pipe problems do u mean like fitment problems or like quality or just popping off??? explain

I say do some research and piece together your own kit. It's your best bet . get a good ems and tune it. For 4500 bucks you can piece together a really descent kit.
