Default skunk2 intake manifold

im lookin into gettin one for my gsr, anyone have any problems with CEL's installin this manifold?

you WILL get CEL eventually... Will need to convert to obd1 (ex. p28 ecu from 92-95 civic si, del sol). Took a while for my CEL to come on but it's here for good now. Not really a good HP gain w/o upgraded cams to match. I prefer itr or ctr cams. OE quality and performance is best!

why would the CE light come on?

theres absolutly no reason for the ce light to come on unless one of the sensers are messed up.

and you don't need to convert to obd1 (it's just nice to have). you can just run a p73 ecu

wel, im matchin my intake with a ported TB and jdm ITR cams, im just worried about throwin a CEL before inspection time, and i dont wanna convert to obd1

well, the s2 mani. doesnt have the secondary butterflies, but the ecu will still look for it and try to activate however the evap canister will be capped off thus giving you the code for evap leak.

you don't cap off the evap canister. that is hooked up.

i've had a skunk2 mani. on all my gsr motors and never threw a ce light.

hmm, well something must be wrong in my setup, b/c even after resetting my ecu, i still throw a code the next day. Any idea what may be wrong? its a 00 gsr by the way.

could be a cracked canaster or vacume line.
something's clogged
or wrong vac. lines going from and to it

im pretty sure my evap can. is capped off, any reason why it would be like that? im still running stock ecu by the way
