The First One Is For My 91 accord SE. The windows come of trake on both the front windows. i know many of you have posted this problem is just i can never find an answer.


The Secound One Is My 94 accord LX. The meter for the gas wont come on untill after 5 min later. it tells me the right amont but sometimes it would just Shut off. Can this be a fuel pump? or does it need a new Speed cluster?

The Third One is My 90 accord Ex. When i hit empty on my fuel gauge the light wont come on at all. the other day i ran out thinking that it would come on. this comes in handy. i changed the dash to see if it wored and nothing. and the one that i changed came on the other car but not on mine. fuel pump on this one also ?

The Fouth One Is My 98 accord Ex. My Volume Comtrol On The Streeing Wheel Does Not Work. I have The oringinal Radio But It wont work?

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

 

you have a lot of damn accords. I thought i had a lot when i owned 2 at a time. Damn. I think for the 94 LX you might have a bad sending unit, i think thats what its called.

Go to Dagobah...There you must seek out DesertHonda and be trained in the ways of the Accord.

all kidding aside, buy a camry or something.

 

sending unit ? where's is that located? and on the camry thing, i did own one but since i favor honda's the engine went to hell poor v6 didn't have a chance. i would never go with any other car but honda!!!

 

We have 2 camry's at home, not bad cars, maintenance free for the most part.

Sounds like you're going to have to take off the inner door panel and put them back on track. While you are in there spray some silicon lubricant in the window track, this will aid in easier roll ups.

Sounds like your cluster went bad...I would snag one from a junkyard and swap it out.

Sounds like the bulb is burnt out, take out the cluster and check the bulb...I believe the bulb type is either type 74 or 168...I don't remember off hand but either should be stocked at your local car parts store.

Honestly I don't know.

 

windows off track.................remove door panel , chk regulator, chk window channels for tear, also the lower window channel guides you can adjust them so they can be a bit tighter there are 10 mm bolts 1 per each guide loosen them up and push guide inward make sure it is not too tight or window wont go up smoothly..


94 accord back at sending unit, gorund wire yellow/blue if lite comes on and stays on you got a bad sending unit........you could also have a poor connection at gauges,,

90 accord low fuel lite .. first off chk fuse # 1 under dash fuse box,, if ok go to sending unit ground wire green/red if lite comes on bad sending unit if not could be bad bulb or wiring problem.

98 acc radio volume .. mose likely a bad steering wheel switch, could be then cable reel or poor wiring green/red going from cable reel to stereo ,,,

 

ThanKS to all Who Help. im going to try all of these things this week. but i have another problem. my 94 accord clock is not coming on. i just got this accord and i have never owned a 5th gen. but i said hey an accord for $1000 bucks one little hit in the front is not bad. but now i have a few problems with it and i hope its not an electric problem witch i don't think it is. all the fuses are ok in the car. can sigal lights cause the clock and the gas gauge not work ? biside these 2 things everything else is ok

lol no not really. i just love honda's. all the cars i have i don't use just for me my girl and her mother use them as well and they are the one's who compain about some of these things. so i try my best to fix them my self then to have someone else fix it.

my windows came of trake also after some *** used a jimmy stick to try and steal my radio, but after i could not get them to stay on track so i put some gorllia glue on the mounts and it works perfectly
