yeah its kinda weird i would go out and buy a motor and all the other goodies for the motor but no tach so i could see what im running. but hey i never said i was smart i mean its quick but i realy need the tach so i know where im shiftin it would make a little sense

oh for the shifter yes im runnina cheep pilot and would like to go even shorter than that any sudestions? and would that help with how sloppy it is and how far over fith and rev are?

That's really wierd. After I did my swap, the B16 linkage felt like a short shifter compared to the D16 shifter to me.

Yeah it definatly felt different than my old shifter but it is still sloppy and fifth and reverse are mad far over i mean to reach fith and reverse it is to the right and then some it actully pushes agenst the plastic casing and moves it to the right when i want to shift to either gears. is there a possibility that the shift linkage was bent when i put it in because of my freind trying to hammer in the bushing . oh by the way that bushing came from my friends integra gsr and is neoprene could that be whats wrong because i thought it didnt make a differense and they would be the same. and how many bushings should there be on a shift linkage just the one that connects onto the tranny right or am i wrong

try going with the bushing kit first. Pep Boys, advanced automotive parts and auto zone carry the kit in stock, they usually have an energy suspension rack.. cost is 15-20 dollars, they tightened my loosey goosey shifter right up... GOod luck

are you sure you dont have the shifter in backwards? With it in backwards the throw to 5th will be just about under the dash.
