it's weird...the light came on when the gas tach was right on the red, and then the gas light came on and turned off and the tach needle seemed to go up a little...this happened twice too. is it just mine that does this?

another question..how many more miles do we get on average once the gas light comes on?

 

It happens. The light also dims when you have more gas. It's normal just the sensor cause gas moves around in there. I'm guessing the reserve tank has about 50 miles left depending on how you drive with it.

 

50 miles?! damnnnn thats a lot, and to think i was shifting at no more than 3k rpms all day..thanks dennis

 

Light comes on.... you got about 3 gallons (or less)

When it stops blinking on and off is when you have to start REALLY worrying!

 

In 40k miles of driving, i have yet to see the gas light in my Integra. Maybe its burned out or something?
