I would go with D2 or Ksport over the Omni Power.

Reasons being the adjustability and also the fact that not every setup they sell is the exact same thing.
I've driven a couple cars with Omni Power and currently have K-Sports on my car and I prefer the K-Sports. Track days and autox soon to come

never will it be 'proven' only recommended from other people.

look at what your getting, wanting and can afford. do a pro/con list and see what is best for Your setup and taste

i use and like the omipowers, which is why we sell them as well. but i wouldnt say its the best for you, not knowing your use for them.

daily driving.. omni will be fine
drag? omni drags are great
road racing? how technical and at what level? perhaps neither will be your best choice.

Why does everyone hold omni's on such a high platter? It seems like they are always the standard when comparing any coilover. There was a recent thread where the shock graphs were comparable to tokico blues . Honestly i really dont think that they are such a gooooood coilover. Even if i were to choose something for a DD i would at least do something with adjustable dampening. I mean i have ran the koni/GC, and progress springs with illumina shocks and both were great and i would own any of the latter over omni. I'm not trying to knock omni, i'm sure that they are well made but i can be sure that there better coilovers to be comparing new suspension to.

the thing is not many of the coilover on the market are short stroke dampes ,most of the coilovers on the market have a shortened case and try to maintain stock travel, the omnis dont they are a short stroke damper, like in racecars.

By similar, I"m sure they meant that the curve was a similar shape. But the fact is Omnipower dampers are made to handle much stiffer springs than Tokico blues are, and that makes them two significantly different sets of dampers. They are good because they are cheap, and reliable, and fit the bill for the majority of consumers. Adjustable damping is not necessary for everyone, plus its very difficult to make an adjustable damper with a decent range of adjustability and resistance to leaking. So people might opt just to skip out on a feature they would rarely use, and the risk of leaking.
