Default Bogart drag-on fly wheels require extended wheel studs?

I have stock DX brakes with stock wheel studs. The wheels I have have the spacers on them so i took them off. When mounting the wheel the lug nuts do not fit all the way on to hold the wheel to the hub. Do bogarts require extended wheels studs and the use of the spacer?... or do I need shorter lug nuts?

NHRA and most track rules say that if you are running 13.99 and quicker and slicks then you have to have extended studs. The Bogarts use a certian lug nut also

yah thats what I thought, but the person I bought the wheels from assured me that I wouldn't need them... oh well.

just ordered some ARP's from lightningmotorsports for 32$ shipped for 8.

next step - DIY install

bogarts need they lugnuts to use them. it will just strip your stock studs and sometime break them. just get the bogart lugs and some arp studs and your good to go

NHRA does not say you need extended studs if you are running faster then 13.99 on slicks.
