D16 Swap in CRX... to much crank case pressure help!!!

Default D16 Swap in CRX... to much crank case pressure help!!!

Ok so my friend did a D16 swap in his CRX and its fully built and everything the only prob is he thinks there is too much crank case pressure cause there is oil leakin out of the distributor

if the pcv is good, and it doesn't have that outlet on the valve cover plugged, theres not too much crankcase pressure. change the o ring, plus i hear that they get sloppy when they're dying.

he just changed all the pcv stuff, wich "O" ring are you guys talkin about????

There is an oring on the distributor shaft that seals it to the cylinder head and prevents oil from leaking out around the distributor.

thanks i'll c if thats the prob.... another question which injectors should he be using... cause the stock ones seem to be slower and doesn't engage vtec to great so we changed them to stock Integra injectors and they worked alot better any suggestions

All stock honda injectors are the same besides some prelude injectors. The integra and civic injectors both flow 240cc so any OBD1 civic/integra injectors will work since you say he has VTEC I am assuming he swapped in a d16z6.

what do you mean "fully built"?
there MIGHT be abnormally high pressure. my 13:1 CR D series seeps oil out of oil filler neck and around the seal on the valve cover.

High compression doesn't always mean uber high crank case pressure. If you have oil leaking out everywhere, I would do a leakdown test, you should be under 10% leakdown.

he planned on goin turbo so i know the whole motor is built top to bottom im just not sure of what he used i kno its got comp cams and cam gear.....
