Excessive crank case pressure leading to excessive blow by...
I hear many topics about people getting blow by due to crankcase pressure. What causes this excessive pressure?? And how do you solve the problem? I plan to boost my stock b18b soon..running 7-10psi daily. Do I need to worry about excessive crankcase pressure?

compression blows past rings and gets into the crank case, now on the downstroke of the motor it pressurizes the crankcase. a boosted honda/acura motor with a pcv valve still functional will cause the pcv to close under boost and therefor only allowing pressure to escape through the vlave cover breather
best way is to just disconect the pcv and cap off the line going to the manifold so you dont leak vacumm/boost, then just leave all other possble crank case breathers open to atmosphere or run them to a catchcan

-Is excessive crank case pressure and blow by something i should be concerned about? On a stock b18b running 10psi?
-And can someone show me pictures and diagrams of what hoses to disconnect, cap, etc? Pictures speak more than words sometimes

crankcase pressure is usually always a problem with boosted hondas, simply because the motors pcv system arent enough once they are force fed. best thing to do is unplug pcv vavecap the line that goes back to the intake manifold and leave the one going to the crankcase open.
if you want a better engineered setup, you can go for something like the endyn catchcan/breather setup, z10 sells a nice one also.....
