Just bought an Accord.
Went to a chevy dealership cuz i saw an ad for a 99 coupe V6 Accord.. ended up liking a 2003 accord coupe... now, it was 9:30 pm and they locked up the keys for the car, it was told to me that the car was a V6. so, i bargained them to $17,200 O.T.D!!! the next day i come to pick up the car.. pop'd open the hood and its a 2.4L engine.. i was like WTF this isnt a V-6!!! ne ways the car actually cost me like $15,444+plus taxes+ doc fee which came to $17,200. after checking the KBB prices.. i still decided to buy the car. its 03 Accord Coupe EX 4cyl, 30k miles... was this a good deal?
Renogitiate the price. The vehicle was misrepresented. Do you have documentation about the V-6? If your contract says it's a 6 then you can terminate the contract. Some advise, don't buy a car you didn't do research on. V-6's have dual exhaust. Always drive the car... don't take their word on the car. Lastly, don't buy a car you have only seen at night. Put down a refundable deposit and check it out in the daylight. Either way, it should be a good car. Maybe you can bargain for an extended warranty in lieu of a reduced price if the dealer won't bargain. Good Luck
well the car still had the warranty and everything so, i bought it for $15,400 + plus taxes+ doc fee came to $17,200. this is price is under KBB though, to compensate the v6 issue they gave me $2,000 give certificates shopping spree to a store. i didnt care much for that $2000... but at least it made the deal a little better..

They gave you gift certificates AND you paid over KBB value?
I dont want to be mean, but dude, youre being taken, raped in the ***, and asking for seconds.
You're ok with this?
You probably can't do much now, but initially you could have gotten a lawyer and had some help...
