With the current 08 model year clearance sale going on, I spent over 5 hours yesterday at this dealership and this is what they gave me...Let me know if I should go to another dealership to see if I can get a better deal.

2008 Honda Accord EX Coupe V6 6speed manual. Without Navigation and the car have 205 miles on it :thumbsdown: they said it was transfer from another dealer and it wasn't a demo/test driven. It still got all those protective film on the car so.....

They want: $26,407

They initially gave me $8.5k for my trade in which is a 2006 Honda Accord LX Coupe 5 speed but I got them to go up to $10,200.

So it's going to be
$26,407 (Price of car)
- $10,200 (trade-in)
+ $2,500 (balance of loan on the 06 accord)
- $1134 (7% sales tax)
+ Misc title fee
--------------
$19,967 that I have to borrow @ 3.9%

It's in the ball park... certainly if you went private party for your used car you could do better, your car looks very good. Remember that finding another 08 manual will be a trick. and then you will have to renegotiate your trade again. Is it worth saving another 1-2k? that's up to you, but you're not getting ripped off

You will ALWAYS loose money on a trade in. Sell the car on craigslist or ebay so you can get what it's worth or more.

how many miles on yours? ive been looking at them lately and relatively low mileage ones are going for atleast $15k.

Hey just wondering since you have your hometown as Florida how does the car in the pic have Jersey plates and a temp plate on it?

BTW I got mine new for 26.7K a couple of months back right off the truck. The price of the car is very good

26K for new is good. But 10K for your used is not good. Your car looks way too good of a condition to be worth that little. Assume you have normal miles on the clock (like 36K). I say 13K as a good (fair) price.

Your trade is where they are trying to get you.

200 miles. Transfer or not, it's been driven. It has been "used." You are dealing with a car salesman. You can't beleive it's true even if it is. I would demand you get at least 2K more in trade or walk. It has been transfered because another deal fell apart? They should "thank you" for wanting this car.

I picked up my 08 exl with nav and voice for 29k(300miles). I think you can get a few more bucks out of them for the price of your 06. There is not much of a mark up on the prices of the hondas. So the stealership probably wont be able to go much lower than $1500 less than the sticker. But i do recommend you selling it first privately. Its much easier to deal when you have a short stack of cash. Dont settle, have a price in mind a stick with it. but be realisitic. Have fun!!!!!!!!!

Didn't you just buy the '06 Coupe a few days ago?

If you can be patient, you can break even with what you paid for the '06 thru private sale, and then just go and buy the '08.

What you've got to decide is, if the $3,000 difference is really worth your time, effort, and the chance of loosing out on the '08, which could ultimately result in about a $1000-$2000 mark up for an '09.

I think your getting a good deal on the '08.

Dude I payed 27,850 and that's with 200 miles on the car, because it to got transferred to a different dealer. Not to say i had to drive almost 500 mile gust pick the thing up. So if you getting the car for $26,407 thats a good deal on my mind.
