Default Looking for charge pipes and intercooler, looking to not go over $400.

My current ghetto set-up keeps blowing charge pipes, i want something better as well as a really nice intercooler to replace my junkyard one.

I was looking at SSAutoChrome (how can you **** up an intercooler and charge pipes?) I e-mailed them because their small intercooler is the same price as a large one they have.

Top is the one i want, bottom is one for the same price.

In my research, i have found that their intercoolers are actually very good. Unfortionately, when i e-mailed them, they said they couldn't give me the first intercooler in place of the one included in a charge pipe kit, they only offer charge pipes with the small intercooler.

I'll probably still stick with getting the first intercooler, however, i can't find charge piping. A little help?

Sup bar code man, haven't seen you around in a while.

I just finished the turbo setup on my 92 civic and used a stealthmode charge piping kit. It is $110 shipped and has much more piping than you need. I had enough left to make a downpipe and STILL didn't even use the straight section at all! You can choose 2, 2.25, or 2.5" (what I have)

Nice, thanks for that link!

$110 is going to be impossible to beat, does it have a nipple for a universal valve by chance?

No nipples included, sorry. His customer service also can't be beat. Tell him Jizzmaster sent ya

Actually, I guess all he offers is a 2.5" kit. But that's good for any setup

Yeah, 2.5" is fine, my Intercooler i plan buying is 3" however. I'll figure out something to do about that, i have some reducers i bought from Autozone that should be able to take the boost fine.

My tunertoys 2.5" charge pipes were $100 shipped and my xo2 intercooler was $225 shipped.

Total price after couplers was $350 and the intercooler kicks ***.

BTW, the two intercoolers pictured probably have a vast difference in thickness - the one in the lower pic looks really thick.

The first intercooler is:

600mm X 300mm X 76mm

Second is:

460mm X 160mm X 90mm

14mm thicker, but overall surface area of the first is much larger.

Just get some good couplers. This happened last week at the track. I thought I messed up the motor, I heard a loud backfire at the top of 4th gear. Go to the pits and that is what I found, lol.

I'd hope so. It's not like 18 bucks at HTS will break the bank or anything.

I'll be going Silicone, i was PM'd a link to fab-works.com, i talked to anthonie from there about a "sponsorship" discount. I'll gladly load my car up with stickers for cheap intercooler piping and other things.
