OK guys here's my stupid question of the month...............

I dropped the lower portion of my exhaust manifold (H22a) to replace my oil pan the (bolts) were seized so they broke...

I ordered new ones from Honda & recieved 3 STUDS now I know I had pulled out bolts (possibly replaced previously) but....

Question Is Is the upper & lower portion of the exhaust manifold held together with STUDS or BOLTS.....(from factory)

its not a stupid questions, but, what does it matter weather you use a stud or bolt?

Well I was expecting bolts to come in from Honda....being that I took bolts out...
But I just recieved Studs......and was wondering if Honda F*cked up or if someone had replaced these studs at some point.....

I am walking to get parts right now so I'm not picking them up till I know they're right.......(and yes unfortunatly all harware stores are out of walking distance)

thanks....three bolts or studs are stopping me from driving?....I know, I know

 

from the factory.. it has studs.. most likely someone else put those bolts in there
