help my car will not move. i think its a axle. ppl with expierence HELP!
just as the title says, i think the axle pop out of place. heres what happened, i was at 4000 rpms in first gear and i gun it, i take it to red line and i know i didnt miss 2nd gear. when i put it in second nothing happens as well as all the gears now. i turned off the car and started it back up it went it every gear perfectly but when i let off the clutch slowly it makes a funky clanking noise. at this point i get towed home from a pickup tied with a rope and as speed pics up a clanking noise get louder just by going straight. btw tranny is about 4 months old and so is the clutch. what do you think it could be?
you could of snapped an axle or blown your diff. Just get under the car and take a peak, or put it on stands and spin the wheels with your hand.

well i checked my car and the wierd thing is, is that it doesnt stall. i pop the clutch in first with out hitting the gas and the car does not stall. is this normal for it being a axle poblem or is the tranny gone?
Please stop typing in ebonics. Some of us here read english only. Reading your post was like trying to understand hyroglyphics.

yeah, a snapped axle would cause that, but i wouldn't rule out your clutch either. take a peek at the axles and see what's going on there first.
