Ok, I'm really not gonna build my Prelude that much because I just want something nice with a lil power to drive. I bought my header at a car show for 100 bucks...it's RActive 4-2-1 with sensor hole. Now I'm probably gonna get the Megan Racing Cat-back, but I have some questions about what to do with the cat. 4th gens have a sensor in the cat right? Now most high flow cats I have found do not have the sensor hole for this. Most test pipes I have found do. But, could I just gut my cat and plug the sensor back in and it wouldn't send codes? Some people have told me I could just gut the cat and it would be almost like a high flow cat and that it wouldn't send codes. Please let me know something! Thanks in advance.

Well, 95 and under cars are OBD1 which only has one 02 sensor, but if your 96 and up, you'll have 2 sensors.

 

Yea, if you're ODB1, and that header you already purchased has an 02 sensor hole, then you are all set

 

As long as your car is a 95 or older than the only O2 sensor you have is in the header collector. There is not one in the cat.

 

Ya my header has the sensor hole in it. I was thinking that OBD1 only had one hole. YaY! Aight thanks guys.
