I had a question regarding my obd1 b16a swap. Here are the facts.

-92 civic si
-previously had a 95 obd1 b18b
-motor I just put in obd1 b16a
-Used the engine harness off the b18b because I didn’t get a b16a harness

I haven’t started the car yet due to not having a distributor, but what I was wondering is what type of issues I will run into.

I know ill have to run the noc wire and splice the vtec wire into the harness. The question that im trying to get at is

Do you think I need to get a b16 engine wire harness or will the b18b harness work, after I run a few extra wires?

just add vtec wiring and you'll be fine.

 

thanks for the info. Ill have to run a knock sensor wire to right?
