Swap shop in Phoenix
Hey I lost my timing belt on the way up to chandler on sunday and there is coolant leaking out of the bottom of the valve cover.
I decided that now is the perfect time to do a swap however I live and work in Tucson and don't have time to do a swap right now. I need to get my baby up and running but I don't know where to go. Does anyone have any suggestions or warnings? Thanks for the time and info!

The fastest way to get it done is by doing it yourself. Or you can find a mechanic to rape you on installation costs plus more mula to do a rush job. Here's a suggestion: Rent or loan a car for a week and do the swap yourself. It builds character.

Price isn't really as much of an issue as time! My car is in Phoenix and I'm 100 miles south and busy. I normally do all of my own work but I don't know if I have the time right now. I'm just trying to weigh all the possibilities before I act. My time may well be worth more at work then what I would save by doing it myself.
Does anyone have some suggestions so that I can figure out what I'm going to do. I need to know who I should talk to in phoenix

Check out this board, AZForum
Go the AZ marketplace and theres multiple shops in there that do swaps. Theres also local people on there who have pretty good reps and could install a engine cheaper than a shop.

Join the forum and make a post asking for help. Most of the people on that board are pretty cool and i know theres a lot of people from Tuscon so im sure they could point you in the right direction.
Thats probably your best bet since its an AZ site unlike this site which is nationwide. Youll have better luck asking over there

they did my OBD0 B16A swap in my 90 si for $2200.00 out the door(JAN 2002). during install it was discovered my radiator was not worthy for a cross country trip from PHX or ORL, and i was tapped so they did it for cost.
also another worthy place is http://www.teamsrd.com they are in tempe.
im my opinion the best place for general maintenance and repair is HonAmotive on McClintock in tempe. I also worked for them.
