MPG...Accord V6 Vs. Accord 4-cyc.
Hey whats up.
My moms looking to either buy a 1999-new Accord or a 1999-new Camry. Now shes a money saving freak and wants to get a 4-cyc. accord.Ive had a couple accords with the F22 and the power is ok but Ive driven the V6 also and just want her to have more torque.
Whats the average Gas milage of a 2000 Accord EX V6 4Dr. with *MARY KAY* products in the back?
Whats the MPG on the same car but twith the 4 cyc.
BTW she doesnt have a heavy foot at all.

Still if she is a money saving freak as you said...Id get the 4 cylinder. Either one will get decent mileage since your mom doesnt have a heavy foot. But the 4 cylinder will go further and save on the gas.
4 cyl is better for gas milage and it has decent power.. but the 6th gen accord are known to have transmission problem with their automatics.. something you might want to think about.. the camry is not bad also.. i have a 2005 camry.. perform just as good as the accords..

That is a little too general to make sense. She is going to buy a 2000 Accord 4 cylinder with who knows how many miles, and her driving style is going to determine whether she has tranny problems or not? I don't think so...
I bought a 2000 Accord in December with 64k miles on it. In January, at 65k, the transmission was replaced at no charge, thanks to the extended trans warranty on '00's and '01's.
The only thing her driving style might impact is the mileage at which the tranny fails - give or take a few thousand miles, but if it's going to fail, there is nothing she can do to prevent it.
