Civic runs like crap after about 20min of driving. Why?
Just like the title says, shortly after my 93 DX (D16Z6 swap) warms up, it starts running like ****. It idles and drives fine, but is extremely doggy when I floor it.
What gives?

have you ever checked the compression on all the cylinders? fuel filter, injectors, pretty much anything to do with fuel you might want to check

I dunno. I hear the term used around here all the time. Being from Indiana I'm surrounded by backwood hill jacks so it could very well be a southern (<-inbred) term and I just don't realize it

Really though, that's a good idea. I'll have a compression check done when I get a tune up.

if one cylinder is not firing it will run 'doggy", so check the plugs and get a testligght and check the wires and finally the dizzy

Not yet and to the guy that said "nice" or whatever...I bought the car two weekends ago in crap condition with a boatload of problems/broken stuff to boot. It's not like I go ricing around in this thing. It spends all of it's time sitting until the issues in question are dealt with.

Yeah dont worry about it, the 92-00 civic forum is going down the toilet right now. But check the cel asap.
