96 EK with OBD1 swap. Alternator wont charge any more for some reason. What to check? Is there a fuse?

 

yep there's a fuse...i have an obd1 swap as well....crusin home one day....boom no speedo or charging goin on..i looked at my fuse's....and there is a fuse called SPD/ALT...and i'm sure yours is blown...it may be something else...but check that

 

hey delteg were your lights dimming and then your car eventually die out?

 

If the Fuse is okay, you can also get a multimeter and see what your alternator is putting out- should be like 14.1v - just read it across the battery while the car is running. If your reading is lower than battery voltage(12v) then you'll never charge the battery.
