Default SRR Rear lower sway/tie bar problems?????

I was driving on the freeway today when all of a sudden, I heard a clank, followed by metal scraping the road surface.

When I pulled over, I looked unerneath the car, thinking my muffler had fallen off the hinges/hooks or something, but to only find my sway bar/tie bar sitting 1/2 *** on the floor. It turns out that the bolt that goes INTO the sway bar had been un-threaded and completely separated from the sway bar itself.

I'm not sure if this was a theft attempt or not because the bolts that go through the subframe were also missing 3 out of the 4.

I've heard a few times that SRR give some people problems, but to have all those bolts missing (after having it installed for over a year and checked at least once a month) seems a little fishy to me.

Does anyone else have this problem? And now that the bolts that hold the lower tie onto the subframe are missing, would I be able to use home depot nuts/bolts?

-Thanks in advance.

What kind of endlinks are you using? My whiteline bar has their OE poly bushings and they tend to loosen themselves up over time theoretically causing the same problem you experienced. Upgrading to a good spherical bearing endlink would solve the problem for me....
