I tried searching already and couldnt pull anything up about the side mirror bra's. I was just looking at some pics on a thread recently and saw this car with them and I am interested in them since Florida bugs are killers for paint especially for Love-Bug seasons.

Why don't you use 3M Stoneguard instead.

 

I have that, but it doesn't cover the whole mirror.

 

BlackR has some on his ITR.

Looks good and keeps rock chips/tire worm marks off of the paint.

3M makes a film that is transparent that is installed on cars to protect against paint chips, I had done some research on it and found some leads but, I do not have that information with me right now. This film is used on Mercedes, or at least use to. it protects really well from chips. I will try to find what information and post it.
Just another option, in case someone wants protection but do not like the bras...

I can understand if you're going cross country...

but around town, any kind of bra looks gay.

 

I am saving my OEM stockers, so I replaced it with MC Vision...
looks funny, but I guess it is ok..

 

Hey, I guess you're referring to the mirror bras I have on my car (the link to the pic above is http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/itrfever/...c=ph%26.view=t I don't know why Yahoo! Photos doesn't let us link directly to the pic). I got them from Autoseattle.com. You can goto their bra section and click on mirror bras. They come custom made for the car and I paid around 30 bucks for them. I usually throw on the front nose + mirror bras when I go on the track. There are some pretty decent size tire chucks that get thrown up! The florida bug problem must be pretty bad to warrant some mirror bras! Hope that helps!
