Default steering response...why?

I'm running 400f/500r spring rates, 26/22 mm sway bars, agx shocks (maxed in front):

when i drive other people's cars, the steering is so responsive. even in a stock 99 civic dx auto, i can wiggle the steering wheel and the car instantly reacts(doesnt turn/grab, but the car is immediately reacting to input), same with the other cars ive driven; 350Z, s2k, 92 paseo. What could it be? I like how those car are twitchy and the sportier cars have awesome turn-in.

For my setup, i figured it would have been very responsive since i bought the springs off my friend's gsr, and when it was on his car, it was very responsive as well. When i want to make a sharp turn, i have to turn way early for the car to give it time to grab and actually change directions.

Is it because its a delsol and the chassis is soft? maybe the lock-to-lock turn ratio is too high?

Check your tierods and bushings. Something could be worn out.

A little bit of toe out helps alot, too.

I got my front toe set to zero and marked a stripe of red touch up paint across the inner and outer tie rods. When I autocross I can turn the tie rods 90° and get some extra toe out, and boy does it help alot! The markings make it easy to get back to my normal zero-ish settings.

I dont have slop in my steering. When im not moving, the steering wheel still moves the wheel at small degrees. Its a delsol si, and it has powersteering.

i suffer somewhat from this...uhh...problem, and from what i can gather, the answer for me at least lies in lower profile tires and new bushings (really needs to get around to doing that damn es kit...sigh)

OEM/Mugen bushings > poly kits

Do you believe everything you hear from people trying to sell you something?

Same goes for here.

Do you believe everything you hear on a forum. There are mixed opinions on bushing types.

Absolutely So how much more are the OEM bushings compared to the poly? I was considering Poly because of the cost, but don't like the longevity of the poly or the extra noise.
