Default Car throwing codes, help!

So I was driving home in the pissing rain tonight and my "check engine" light came on. When I got home and checked the ECU code, it flashed 1 long, and 17 short, so is that code 27? What does this mean?

Thanks for that but I still can't figure this out. I have a CR-X si, so it's obd-0. The ECU blinked one long (so 10) plus 17 short (so, duh, 17). 10+17=27 and I can't find a code 27. Am I doing this wrong?

I'll go check it again

is there any other way long/short codes are combined? Could it just be a code 10 and 17?

Okay so it turns out it was flashing 1 short, and 17 short. It was 2am when I checked last so that's probably why I was messed up. So I guess I need a new o2 sensor. The 17 short is for VSS, but I had that replaced a while ago and my speedo is fine. I bet if I reset my ECU the code 17 would go away.

Anyways, thanks a lot HatchBox.
